When you arrive at A+ Urgent Care, have your identification and insurance card ready. The team can also treat you if you don’t have insurance or are undocumented.
During your visit, you should walk your provider through all the steps of how you or your child’s injury happened, when symptoms began, current underlying chronic conditions, and your family history.
Your provider may take you or your child’s vitals, examine the injury site, take X-rays, or perform an electrocardiogram (EKG) or blood tests.
Once your provider has finished the exam, they work with you to develop a treatment plan and may prescribe medication in oral, injection, or suppository form. Your provider may refer you to an outside physician if you need surgery or advanced treatment.
